About Me
Therapy, Meditation, Mindfulness
I’m Tony Hardman
Hi, my name is Tony Hardman and I’ve struggled with mental health most of my life. Depression, anxiety, and anger were often the hallmarks of my personality. In fact, my nickname in high school was angry Tony. But, after years of therapy, mindfulness practice, and meditation I’ve changed and grown into a calmer, happier more balanced person.
As anyone who struggles with mental illness can tell you, there are good days and bad days, and that’s why I’ve created “Not Quite Zen.”
If you’ve ever felt anxiety, depression, and anger, or struggled with the challenges of daily life then this Not Quite Zen is for you.
Subscribe to this blog, and listen to the podcast every other Tuesday where I’ll cover a wide range of topics like:
Does therapy actually work?
What is happiness and how can you find it?
How to deal with anxiety in relationships
What is mindfulness and how can it improve your life
And so much more.
At the end of the day, “Not Quite Zen” is about taking small steps towards a better life, but it’s also about acceptance.
I’m not perfect — I still get anxious, depressed, and angry. But I’ve learned that sometimes, it’s ok to not be ok, and with that in mind, I hope this becomes a safe space for you to explore your feelings, improve your life, and connect with others who face similar problems.
So, subscribe today and join me as we talk about how to better tackle this crazy journey, we call life.
